The Kentucky HS Rodeo invited the Indiana and Tennessee HS Rodeo kids for competition this weekend on Halloween at the Western Kentucky University Ag Expo Center, in Bowling Green, Ky. I got there with a half an hour of sunlight and time left to shoot before the kids had to get ready for their events. This is what I got.
(I know the above photo isn't sharp. It was meant to be a quick shot to help me with captions, but I really liked it once I dropped my images).

This woman was so nice. She didn't even know my name and immediately offered me home cooked chili and a drink. Her name is Jeanne Strange.

This is what dusk looked like as I was leaving.

"Soon it got dusk, a grapy dusk, a purple dusk over tangerine groves and long melon fields; the sun the color of pressed grapes, slashed with burgandy red, the fields the color of love and Spanish mysteries." -Kerouac
